Arduino IDE/C Variant On Pi?

Mon Apr 02, 2018 2:30 am

Hi,

This is going to sound silly, but is there an Arduino IDE Kind of Language for the Raspberry Pi, kind of like the Teensy 3.5 extensions?

I have done a bit of programming on the Arduino, and I like not having to worry about pointers and such. Much more, it would be cool to be able to move code back and forth between the PI and the Arduino.

I've not tried it myself but I hear QT creator uses a modified C++ that takes care of some of the worst grunt work.

https://github.com/me-no-dev/RasPiArduino

must be installed on a Windows PC, but then you can deploy code to the Pi over Network.
I would just bite the bullet, install NetBeans and learn proper C++.

https://create.arduino.cc/getting-started has some Raspberry support.
