Lua scripting language

Hello everybody
How to use lua scripting language to read the data on the sensor attached to raspberry pi, such as ultrasonic sensors. Can you recommend a few lua to read the sensor data example?

You could try this - http://andre-simon.de/doku/rpi_gpio_lua ... io_lua.php - I don't have lua installed on my Raspberry Pi so I don't know how well it works.
