Node.js Thermostat

Mon Sep 12, 2016 5:40 pm

Hey All,
Thanks to Heater for working with me to use Node.js to render serial data from temp sensors hooked up to an Arduino.
viewtopic.php?f=34&t=151184&p=1004116&h ... p#p1004116

Now that I have the temp sensors sending serial data from the Arduino to the Pi I want to use that data to create a thermostat to control a space heater. Here's the functionality I'm working towards.

A web interface to
  • show the current temp
show the current desired temperature setting
A way to change the desired temp
    A timer/scheduler
I'd appreciate any resources any of you all might have to make this happen.

Please let me know.
Thanks!
Rich

Good to hear of your success.

Give me a while to think about the next part...
Memory in C++ is a leaky abstraction .

I poked around here but didn't see anything that looked like it would work.
