UCB logo

Thu Aug 23, 2012 10:58 pm

My Rasberry Pi just arrived in the mail and I havent booted it yet.

My nine year old daughter has taken an interest in UCB Logo or any logo for the reason that I learned it as my first programming language in 1983 on a BBC Microsystem.

Do you support this "out of the box"?

If not I guess it shouldn't be that hard to install.

What other languages would you recommend that give the instant reward like logo?

UCB logo 5.5 is packaged in Debian and Rasbian, to install it you need to run the following lines from the command-line on the Pi.

Code: Select all

# Download an up-to-date list of all available packages
sudo apt-get update
# Download and install ucblogo
sudo apt-get install ucblogo
Xerxes Rånby @xranby I once had two, then I gave one away. Now both are in use every day!
