PHP Hour Min drop down list

Thu Apr 01, 2021 10:17 pm

Hi,
I want to set a timer via local website on a zerow, and would like to be able to select hours (in 24hr format) and mins in seperate drop down menus...
Do you know of any links or tutorials I could follow?
Happy Easter,
Sandy

I'd do it in Javascript in the browser with something like https://github.com/wvega/timepicker so that the stuff passed to your PHP program is already checked for syntax and sensible values.
Any language using left-hand whitespace for syntax is ridiculous

maybe html5's form input type "time " might work for you: https://www.w3schools.com/tags/att_input_type_time.asp

Although w3schools say that doesn't work with Iphone's Safari browser, it does, so it is a generally acceptable function now.

Safari and Microsoft offerings have been slow at adopting html5 standards. Now since flash was booted off the internet, they have no choice.
