.net framework support gpio

Thu May 13, 2021 12:26 am

hello i need help. Looking for some visual studio solution / library to handle gpio ports on raspberry. I found a library for .net core but visual studio doesn't want to work. I found a few others but each of them had similar problems or lack of documentation. It would be useful for me if someone had a working library that would run in a "Windows forms app" project or knew some other way to make the "program" gui so easy to edit and handle c #. PS I'm sorry for any problems with understanding but I use google translator because I am a bit weak from poll :)

I'm no C# user but as far as I know GPIO on the Pi is supported by some libraries:
raspberryio: https://github.com/unosquare/raspberryio

Or what about: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet ... /blink-led

I would not worry about Visual Studio, you don't need an IDE to write software. Any editor will do.

That is not to say many features IDE's have are not very nice to have. For this reason I do all my code editing in Visual Studio Code (Known as VS Code or just "code" when you run it). Which is available in a package for the Pi and works very well.
Memory in C++ is a leaky abstraction .

Have a look at ETO Forms for your GUI
