Raspberry Pi Forums

Hello I gotten a hold of a raspberry pi and started learning Python with the Minecraft game and gone through several of the online resources in Craig Richardson Raspberry Pi book, Stuffaboutcode, and MCPIPY. I'd like to ask if this forum is a good place to request help about making a Python program for Minecraft Pi edition. I know there's the code repositories in Github, which probably the best site to find an example code to do what I looking for it to do. The only other site that I could think about about getting help could be from the Minecraft Pi at Minecraft forum.
