Kivy/Cython compile error

Mon Dec 02, 2013 8:45 am

Anyone lately successfully installed Kivy with Cython 0.19?

It rows an error during python compile stage:

Code: Select all

building 'Cython.Compiler.Code' extension

gcc -pthread -fno-strict-aliasing -DNDEBUG -g -fwrapv -O2 -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -fPIC -I/usr/include/python2.7 -c /home/pi/kivy/b
uild/cython/Cython/Compiler/Code.c -o build/temp.linux-armv6l-2.7/home/pi/kivy/build/cython/Cython/Compiler/Code.o

gcc: internal compiler error: Killed (program cc1)
Or if someone has a Kivy ready SD image for testing my 22" multitouchscreen, that would be nice (o;

Try reinstalling both programs. Sometimes this fixes problems like these.
Python expert, but a beginner when it comes to the electronic side of the pi ;)

A manual compilation of python revealed the problem: out of memory (o;

Allocated more to CPU than GPU and now the installation went through :-)

Here also a bad looking screenshot of my 22" multitouch display running Kivy touchtrace on the Raspberry Pi:
