Parallel job processing with RPi

Wed Jul 03, 2013 1:19 pm

For my job I am setting up a raspberry pi cluster to calculate-you guessed it-pi. I am using the BBP and Chudnovsky formulas to calculate (BBP to verify Chud), and I want to split the load throughout the cluster. I have 4 Pis, and want to split the job load to lower the time. Anyone have a good idea/know of a python module that can help me do this?
P.S. I have the programs to calculate written in python, just need a way to make them efficient in a cluster.

You might look into parallel python. I've used it with success on the Pi, though I don't believe it works in Python 3 yet.
