Raspberry Pi Forums

Hello

I bought Simon Monk's programming the rasberry pi which is good and clear. However in chapter 5 modules and classes I'm having issues with the converter code. Pg 69-70. I typed out the code as in the book. However when I run the program I get "invalid character in identifier" and it highlights the colon at the end of class ScaleConverter I'm stumped. Tried various things but no joy. Anyone familiar with the book please help as its holding me back. I'm not a total noob to programming but its been a while.

Could you post your code, not familiar with the book but can possibly help after seeing what you have.
