beginning with Python

Thu Dec 19, 2019 12:23 am

I got myself a Rp4 and i want to start learning Python. I got some experience with c++and processing, also got the basics of Linux command line, installing stuff and so on.

So far i got my Raspbian installation up and running and i want to ask, what is a good resource to learn Python?

I want to do projects related to LEDs, matrix displays, art installations and so on

And if you installed the Raspian image with additional software, you have Thonny already installed as IDE for Python.
Else... I let you install it and give it a try...

You may want to expand Processing3 with Python Mode. A one click install. So easy!

A good place to start is with the Raspberry Pi Official Resources, for example -

With past C experience you should quickly pick up how things are done in Python, and get to grips with the wider Python language.

I think in today's digital age, you have lots of avenues to learn python, I wanna suggest you learn python from Cognitive class, Coursera or Datacamp, go for such platforms it will definitely work.
