Live keyboard entry onto display

Wed Jul 11, 2018 2:01 pm

Hey,

I want to listen for keyboard entry (until 'enter' is pressed) to capture a persons name but I want to also display what they have pressed so far on a LED RGB Matrix.

I have seen I can capture input using `raw_input` but that doesn't seem to do quite what I require.

Has anyone done anything similar, or know of a tutorial that would point me in the right direction?

Thanks

What programming language do you use? Python?

pygame has functions to handle keyboard entry, it is already loaded on the RPi

There is also a python module called 'keyboard' that can loaded using pip.

Return to “Python”
