I'm doing an internship and I need to integrate an IR transmitter and receiver in a system thanks to Raspberry. However I'm not an expert at all in this field because I'm studying mechanical. So I don't know how to make the python program.
I will explain you what I would like to do with these sensors.
I would like to measure the velocity of a ball in cylinder so I choose to integrate 2 transmitters and 2 receiver. I know the distance between the 2 transmitters and thanks to raspberry I will can know the time that the ball spend between the 2 transmitters. So I can have the velocity !
I would like to have the moment when the receiver do not receive the signal (when the ball pass in front of the transmitter). But I have no idea how I can do this.
Can you help me ? (If you need more information about what I would like to do ask me !)
