Which GUI for this project?

Mon Nov 07, 2016 10:31 am

I am planning a project involving simple data entry using the pi touchscreen.

I will need 3 numerical data fields displayed. The user will use GUI buttons on the touchscreen to increase/decrease the numerical values, which obviously need to be displayed as they change. Once the data is entered, a further button press will start a python script using the data entered.

I had started this project using pygame for the GUI, but I suspect I may be better off using tkinter (or other, if there is another possibility).

Which would be the simplest to use?

Thanks

CJ

Thanks Dougie, I'm tempted with tkinter. To be sure, I will be able to take the 3 numbers generated with tkinter and use them in a subsequent Python script?

Cheers
