blinka installation hangs?

Fri May 07, 2021 5:33 pm

This script configures your
Raspberry Pi and installs Blinka

RASPBERRY_PI_4B detected.

This seems to be sitting there forever rather than the "few minutes" advertised here https://learn.adafruit.com/circuitpytho ... spberry-pi

It worked last time I tried it on a different Pi.

Any ideas? Kill and re-run? Throw away the SD card and start again?

Killed it and restarted it. It appeared to work the second time.

Sooo tedious. Yes I know it's difficult to code around all possible network glitches and suchlike, but those of us of a certain age know that, to do something properly, whilst 95% of the work is in the error handling, it is also the case that 95% of the value is in the error handling.
