Re: ninja-build
Don't see the relevance of that link to my question, what I'm looking for is ninja-build, see https://martine.github.io/ninja/fruitoftheloom wrote:???? http://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewt ... ja#p532645NedTheNerd wrote:Hi

Re: ninja-build
Added the Debian repository to sources, now it finds it, strange that no one has put this in the Raspbian repository.

Re: ninja-build
remove the debian repositories before you break your PRI

Re: ninja-build
Did that after getting ninja-build. Not a Noob with Pi's or Linux. If it breaks I can always reflash and restore a backup, done that quite a few times.RaTTuS wrote:remove the debian repositories before you break your PRI
I usually use a VM for building but decided to try the Pi2, speed at the moment looks promising, just started a build which took 12 hours on my Ubuntu VM, any better time will be a testament to the new Pi.

Re: ninja-build
It might be OK on a RPI2 although a hybrid Raspbian/DebIan installation may be a monster in disguise.RaTTuS wrote:remove the debian repositories before you break your PRI
Any language using left-hand whitespace for syntax is ridiculous
