Please could one of the moderators set up a Javascript-HTML5 list?

The world wide web relies on javascript and more recently HTML5.

I would like to second this request for a new Forum entry under Programming

It is really easy to set up a Pi as a webserver on your own local network, which might lead to all sorts of attractive projects. There is not a special place to ask questions about web page creation, and it would be useful to cover HTML and Javascript (and PHP, Ruby, Perl, etc.). It would also help as a place to promote standards compliant web pages and security issues

Is this a question for the Moderators? Is it for the Pi Foundation?

... it might help avoid javaScript questions appearing in the java(TM) section

considering "Google Coder: a simple way to make web stuff on Raspberry Pi"

Since HTML5 and JS actually run on the client, writing it be be served by a Pi will be no different than writing it for a Debian server, unlike most other languages (C, C++, Python, Java) which have Pi specific libraries, etc. for interfacing with the Pi hardware.

Personally I don't see why HTML/JS questions couldn't just be directed to a forum which both already has a large amount of information on it and probably has a larger number of users who could offer answers (kind of leaning towards StackOverflow here).
