What Language to Use?

Wed Aug 26, 2015 8:15 pm

I made a remote controlled car with a pi camera and I want to be able to control it through over the internet. I want to make a customizable website that can display a video stream from the pi camera, and I want to be able to make buttons on this website that you can click to make the Raspberry Pi pins turn on and off. I want to be able to press keys on my laptop that can make my RC car drive, and I would like it to have PWM. I am familiar with Python and C programming but I am willing to learn other programming languages. What language(s) should I use to efficiently build this project? Thank you in advanced and I'm sorry that I sound so greedy in this message. If you have any suggestions, questions, etc., please let me know.

You mean a controller for your already built car, eh?

Go with Python.
Even though I'm a strong advocate of Ruby. It makes no sense to learn a new language for the sake of learning.
