Hey does anyone know if I can use my MacBook pro to create the disk image on the sdcard?

The only reason I don't use my MacBook pro is that my SD slot absolutely sucks-- I don't know if you've had similar experience, but getting my drive to recognize my card is a nightmare.

As a Mac user I have had similar problems working with SD cards but having downloaded an application called SDFormatter.app I haven't had any further difficulties with a wide range of makes and sizes.
