Reading sd card from android app

Sat May 23, 2020 12:31 pm

Hey, hope it's the correct place to ask.
I have a custom RPi OS a friend sent me, and is integrating with an android app.

In the android app you can see the available free storage, and it seems like it's reading that ONLY from the /boot partition saving it in /boot/some_folder

I can resize the /boot partition to be larger, but it creates some more complex issues later on for me, so I'm thinking if I might be able to make it read other partitions except for the boot.

The question is, whether it's OS related, or android related?
It would make more sense to me that the android is reading the /boot partition and it's not really related to the OS, and that if I'd want to change that I'd need to modify the android app?

Not really sure about that, would love to hear some thoughts.
Both the RPi distro and the android app are custom made, so naming it would probably not give anyone any information.

Thanks for the help!

So I've found out that in one of the OS configurations it sets where the saving path will be. I don't think I could set multiple partitions unfortunately, but at least I can select which partition I want and that way keep the BOOT partition clean :)
