Script for controlling RPi via Windows 10 PC automatically

Sat Jul 07, 2018 8:43 am

Hello,

I'm looking for a way to control the RPi from a Windows 10 Pc via push of a button on the screen.

More specifically, when a user presses a button on the PC touchscreen, a script should be run that sends a command to the RPi. And when the user presses a different button, another script should run..and so on.

I've searched and searched and found that Putty can be run with parameters, so it can execute a specific command. But information is scarce, or I don't know exactly what to search for.

Thank you for your help :D

You can use plink (part of the putty package) to run remote commands
See e.g. https://www.ssh.com/ssh/putty/putty-man ... pter7.html

Another thing to look at, depending on what it is you are doing.
Is gpiozero and pigpio to use python to control a remote Po and it's gpio pins etc.

OpenSSH is included in Win10 as of the spring update. No need for plink if Windows is currrent.
