Powering RPi B+ Via Batetry

Hi
I was wondering if someone can advise me on how i can use a battery to power my RPi B+
I was orpionally going to use a usb adapter but i thought there may be a better way

I can recommend
this usb powerbank, it can recharge while still powering the pi (and its a wifi router as well).
Higher capacity powerbanks are also available.

FWIW, my initial tests suggest that this one could be quite useful for "longer" run-times (several hours?):

Virtually any of the "powerbanks" that provide 5 volts on a USB connector can be used to power an RPi. How long they will run for depends on the capacity of the power bank, the RPi model and what peripherals are being used.
