Running IOT protocols like CoAP,6LowPan, RPL on Raspberry pi

Hi,

For building IOT network, I would like to run IOT specific protocols like CoAP, 6LowPan, RPL on Raspberry Pi

I do have couple of questions wrt this.

1) which is '802.15.4 radio' hardware that support on Raspberry pi board so that i can connect to it?
'802.15.4 radio' hardware is needed as an adaptation layer to support 6Lowpan

2) which is the OS can i use that support ipv6 and all the above IOT protocols on Raspberry pi board ?

3) Do we have package/source code/software for all IOT protocols 'CoAP, 6LowPan, RPL etc' on Raspberry Pi board ?
If yes, please share the link for the same.

I'm also interested in 6LoWPan and IoT solutions for the raspberry. Compiled the raspberry kernel yesterday with 6LoWPan support and are on my way to order http://openlabs.co/store/Raspberry-Pi-802.15.4-radio but that guy aint using the standard branch of the raspberry pi kernel, so i don’t know how successful i will be.

Did you succeed to use 802.15.4 radio on Rasbpberry Pi? I am also interested to run RPL and 6LoWPAN on Contiki over the Pi.

I hope to use raspberry pi as edge router in a 6lowpan network. Using contiki to configure the network. Anyone having experience in this ? I need advice in setting up things

I'm also trying to get this working to link some TI SensorTags with my Pi. So far I've managed to bring up a lowpan interface using an OpenLabs Raspberry-Pi-802.15.4-radio by following the How to install 6LoWPAN Linux Kernel on Raspberry Pi guide, but haven't got any actual data going though just yet, I guess cause RPL is quite working.

I would like to experiment with using Pis for a Wireless Sensor network using the 6LoWPAN (802.15.4).

Could anyone recommend any 802.15.4 modules like this http://openlabs.co/store/Raspberry-Pi-802.15.4-radio or give me some tips on how to get started
