Raspberry PI as VPN Client/Router

Mon Dec 02, 2013 3:41 pm

I am interested in using Raspberry PI to create a Wifi access-point where all data is routed through a VPN. Similar to the onion pi, except instead of TOR it routes everything through the VPN.

Does anyone know of a tutorial online about this? I've spent some tie with Google, and it seems that most Raspberry PI VPN guides are about using it as a server.

Any input is appreciated!

OpenVPN works well as a VPN client on the Pi (assuming you have an OpenVPN server for the other end). Just use the default route option to send all traffic from the Pi (and thus all masquerading Wi-Fi clients) down the VPN
