Building Dropbox source for Raspberry Pi

Has anybody attempted to build and make any fixes to the Dropbox linux source to enable it to work on the Raspberry Pi? Running configure on the source requires a bunch of extra packages which I've not been able to resolve. Before I spend too much time on this, has anybody else tried and succeeded or hit an impenetrable roadblock?

My understanding is that https://www.dropbox.com/help/247/en is just an installer that downloads an x86 binary.

The instructions at that site should work, but I have not tried to do that with the rpi.

Although it says it is for Nautilus you can possibly use it without Nautilus. Try it and tell us
