UV4L - Headless

Thu May 16, 2019 9:19 pm

Hello,

i am investigating the possibility of having a Raspberry Pi running as a headless server with a Small API, that will allow me to tell the Raspberry to join / leave conferences.

the Raspberry will only have power, Ethernet, a mic and speakers, there should be no User Interface.

i am not sure if this is possible, as all of the examples seem to indicate that you have to join the conference from a website?

So i got UV4L installed, and got the WebRTC two-way Audio/Video/Data Intercom & Recorder working, and i can connect to the Pi and hear what it's hearing, but anytime i check the box that says Cast local audio/video (Microphone) then click "call" i just get a "busy" pointer (like a site is loading) and it just sits there... doing nothing until i click hangup... any thoughts as to why this may be occurring? or any logs i can review?
