Pi Speed-Camera app

Sun Sep 30, 2018 6:24 pm

I came across the great speed camera app - written by pageauc, and I have been configuring it for a while now, however, I have had some problems and wondered if anyone else had seen them,

I find that some pedestrians, specifically those with prams seem to be rather rapid, one was 35mph!

Also there doesnt appear to be a minimum speed option, so I can avoid recording pedestrians...

Anyone have any thoughts?

As you have not said were you got the app from , no ones going to know what you are actually using, And if you have problems with code written by someone else its always a good Idea to approach them first because they should understand there own code and be able to help.

If they are unwilling or unable to help then you need to give a great deal more detail about the code and hardware used so people her have a fighting chance to understand your project and be able to help.

Claude Pageau is active on this forum as pageauc (https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/memb ... le&u=50267)
I would assume the code comes from his github repo (https://github.com/pageauc/speed-camera)

Then I would suggest the issue be raised on the github page that way the author will see it, I also see there is a page on Accuracy Issues
https://github.com/pageauc/speed-camera ... acy-issues that might shed some light on the problem.
