What make/model of camera would set up an ad hoc wifi network with no setup feature? If you want more help, post the make/model.

Then unless you can change your home router to use a different network block or, at least, a different subnet you won't win the game.

Sorry for the slow reply... ended up in hospital unexpectedly. Oops!
Anyway, thanks to you both for your comments, but when I was in hospital, wasting time lying around, I realised there is a USB interface for the camera. So that solves that issue entirely.
