Help needed WD pidrive for camara

Tue Jul 18, 2017 1:33 am

I have a pi2 set up to run Pikrellcam and I have a wd pidrive I want to use as storage only. I have been going around in circles trying to figure out how to do this. I don't want to install Raspbian on it I just want a partition for storage.

It should just be a case of mounting the PiDrive at a suitable location for the software to save images to.

From a quick look the program stores captured media in the following location :

Code: Select all

/home/pi/pikrellcam/media/
Easy way would be to mount the PiDrive at boot (in the /etcf/fstab file) and then edit the programs config file to change the default save directory to the WDLabs PiDrive.
