Using OMXPlayer with --lavfdopts

Fri Apr 21, 2017 6:16 pm

Hey guys,

I am trying to use the --lavfdopts feature in OMXPlayer.

My line that works:
omxplayer --lavfdopts 'probesize:250000' test.h264
The line I am trying to use:
omxplayer --lavfdopts 'probesize:250000,fastseek,direct' test.h264
The original post, found here: https://github.com/popcornmix/omxplayer/pull/429 says you should be able to use any option found in the options_table.h file found here: https://www.ffmpeg.org/doxygen/3.2/liba ... ource.html

The command line format for OMXPlayer is slightly different than that found in MPlayer but in theory, it should work.

Can anyone tell me how to format the command line or what options are supported?

Thanks in advance.

https://www.ffmpeg.org/ffmpeg-formats.h ... at-Options

Given the way that omxplayer calls libavformat's option parser[1], you might need something like,
omxplayer --lavfdopts 'probesize:250000,fflags:fastseek,avioflags:direct' test.h264
Although I don't know how you would pass multiple flags values for fflags. Maybe just repeat the fflags option.
