What triggers led1?

Thu Oct 06, 2016 1:48 pm

Hi guys,

I'm trying to understand what are triggers to led1 activation.
I would like to use it for reading eventual under-voltage states, but I'm not sure if that is good idea as something else might fire false alarm.

I see this is /sys/class/leds/led1/trigger:

Code: Select all

[none] rc-feedback kbd-scrollock kbd-numlock kbd-capslock kbd-kanalock kbd-shiftlock kbd-altgrlock kbd-ctrllock kbd-altlock kbd-shiftllock kbd-shiftrlock kbd-ctrlllock kbd-ctrlrlock mmc0 timer rfkill0
But I have no idea what that means.

Now, if I understand @dom correctly, he explained here: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=99445 that gpio 35 is led1 now and that it is used for under-voltage detection:

Code: Select all

# and back to normal under-voltage detect
echo input | sudo tee /sys/class/leds/led1/trigger
So, is it safe to assume that nothing else will trigger this LED except under-voltage?
