Mon Sep 05, 2016 7:06 pm

Hello,
I search many forums, info, sellers.. and found info for this kind of modules but for Arduino, and cannot find simular for raspberry pi.
do you know some, which is not so expensive and it is sender/receiver in one with good antena.

some examples:

I've used a few different HopeRF modules on the Pi, in particular the RFM69 modules. These connect over the SPI bus.

If you were looking for a custom Raspberry Pi Board there's https://hasnet.supplies/rfm69-rpi which I think you'll need to solder an RFM69 to yourself, there's also a board using the RFM Lora modules available at https://store.uputronics.com/index.php? ... duct_id=68

Hi,
thanks, i saw also them, but first they are only for one frequency , and expensive.
i am searching for something not so expensive and that can work with wiringpi easily, not to create new libraries :)
the one that i gave is ok - 8 euro for two modules from China, but i am not sure if they will work with raspberry..

You can control the frequency on the various RFM modules within the band it's designed for. You're unlikely to find anything cheap that works on multiple bands as this will require multiple RF paths on the module increasing the component count and complexity. I'm also pretty sure you can find the RFM69 for a similar price from china (maybe a bit more if you want to buy from an EU stockist).

Hi vasilev,

I used hc-12. It has a voltage range from 3.2 - 5.5V and it is cheap.
See manual: http://www.elecrow.com/download/HC-12.pdf
Success with your project!

hey,
i bought the same transceiver. Did you happen to get it to work? How did you connect it to the GPIO pins. I found some Posts on the web, i just want to confirm as i am a complete noob in this thing.

Thanks
