All the posts say edit kodi file and set enable to 1

Code: Select all

sudo leafpad /etc/default/kodi
ENABLED=1
to boot directly into kodi, but
i didn't have a kodi file in that folder. Even after I created a file named kodi and added ENABLED=1 kodi still doesn't autorun.

I am running the latest version of raspbian and kodi. I need help.

Why not run OpenELEC or OSMC? They boot straight to Kodi with no fuss.

Kodi goes to black screen lockup on exit to Raspbian most of the time anyway, so if you booted straight to Kodi via Raspbian then you would never be able to get back to Raspbian anyway.
