Audio jack on my raspberry PI 2

HI!
I am new to the Raspberry pi and having problems trying to setup the audio jack to play a music channel over the internet. The platform I am using is LXPanel 0.7.1 Can anyone help me putting in the right information in the setup for the audio jack or is there another way I can get the music playing from the web site that I want to hear.
