RPi with RPi-cam + Zoneminder

Thought I'd share this to maybe save ware'n tear on other fingers.

RaspberryPi B+ with:
Waveshare Raspberry Pi Camera for Model B/B+ Night Vision Camera Module 5MP OV5647 Webcam Video 1080p Raspberry-pi B B+ Camera Kit (amazon)

apt-get -y install zoneminder
apt-get -y install v4l-utils
added bcm2835-v4l2 to /etc/modules
[here's what took me the longest to figure out]
Local, Modect, 20/20, /dev/video0, V4L2, 0, PAL, RGB24, 640x480

Seems to be working fine. Abet a bit slooow. I do have one question: (and maybe it's the cam/IR) every once in a while the image goes ORANge...... and fades to normal. ZM gets all excited and logs an event. Thoughts?

Funny, pretty much an advanced version of the thing I've build .. but to answer your question:
Is this maybe happening every time the IR LEDs turn on?

... at 1:15 AM? Prob. not. I'm wondering if maybe it's ZM error of some kind - but then that shouldn't cause the bloom. I also get "Hue control is not supported". I'll keep trying to track it down.

Aside: I bought a pair of these $12/ea - work great.
