What happened to rpi-updater?
It is no longer available, as far as I can tell, from Hexxeh.

That was posted on 10th May 2012 at 6:49 pm. rpi-update is no longer required or recommended. When looking at pi-relate information it's important to check how recent it is. Things change all the time.

Once the Pi has booted you really don't need to do anything. Upgrades are entirely optional. "Managing" the Pi is just like any Linux system.
