Wed Apr 01, 2015 11:43 am

Hi All,

Bit of a strange one, i2c works fine until I install an couple of USB DVB-T dongles

No DVB-T

Code: Select all

[ 4.875288] bcm2708_i2c_init_pinmode(1,2)
[ 4.880879] bcm2708_i2c_init_pinmode(1,3)
[ 4.883231] bcm2708_i2c 20804000.i2c: BSC1 Controller at 0x20804000 (irq 79) (baudrate 100000)
With DVB-T

Code: Select all

[ 4.702733] i2c i2c-0: Added multiplexed i2c bus 1
[ 4.730719] i2c i2c-0: Added multiplexed i2c bus 2
[ 5.082248] bcm2708_i2c_init_pinmode(1,2)
[ 5.084456] bcm2708_i2c_init_pinmode(1,3)
[ 5.086519] bcm2708_i2c 20804000.i2c: could not add I2C adapter: -16
[ 5.124241] bcm2708_i2c: probe of 20804000.i2c failed with error -16
[ 6.127301] i2c i2c-3: Added multiplexed i2c bus 4
[ 6.205647] i2c i2c-3: Added multiplexed i2c bus 5
Any suggestions on how to resolve ?

what's you DVB-T card?
its the driver and firmware installed?
what's your OS and RPi version type?
{ I only give negative feedback }
RPi B (256MB), B (512MB), B+, ZeroW; 2B; 3B, 3B+; 4B (4GB)
