Hi xphoto,
I'm a new Linux user and recently received yesterday a EW7811-UTC for my Pi2 and obviously cannot use it.
Could you help and explain me what is the way to install new Kernel (I believe) in my Pi. I downloaded the 8812au.ko file but know undertand what to do with. I created a new folder, put it in and make a lsmod. There I have the folowing lines coming, but do not know what else...
Can you help.
Best regards

pi@raspberrypi ~/fourtout $ sudo lsmod

Can you connect the EW7811UTC wifi to your Pi and post the output of the two commands

Code: Select all

uname -a
lsusb
The output you posted from command lsmod shows the 8192cu driver is installed which would appear to indicate you have a 8192cu/8188cu wifi module installed. Is that right?

Hi,

I would like to know if anybody successfully cross-compiled for Raspberry Pi 1? I am using 1 B+. Had put some hours but not successful yet. I want to use rtl8812au for openWrt in Raspberry Pi B+.

Please let me know if you have done this or could help me in this.
Thank you in advance!
