Rpi 2 Openelec VPN HELP

I purchased CyberGhost VPN and i've done alot of research and cant seem to get anywhere near to getting it running, the only file available to download was a config file and in that file looks like a key, couple of certificates etc.
I also tried connecting through PPTP and i got the servers showing however they just all fail when i try to connect.
I'd use OPENVPN if i new what i was doing, i read i needed a certificate file and a key file etc but obviously didnt receive one of those seperately.
Can someone please help (ps im pretty amateur so clear step by step instructions would be diamond)
