Motion raspberry pi B+

I have two Raspberry Pi one the model B and the other is B+ i had motion install on both then had to do a re-install of the B+ now motion wont run even though its states its running both are Raspbian and fully update. also the webcams are both logitec one C300 and the other C270 both work on on the modle B but nothing on the the B+

Any ideas?

Do you have same version of kernel and firmware on both Raspberry Pi?

if i am reading this right i have the same kernel and firmware running on both

Well, you have still kernel 3.12, so it seems to be a different issue. Is your webcam working with other software, such as guvcview or mjpg_streamer? Which kernel messages can you see after attaching your webcam and then after running motion?

Sorry for delay i have had a mad day the issue seams to be fixed beleve it or not i pluged in a cheap £5 no driver webcam i got from amazon and now motion is behaving itself.
