Set clock to 12 hour, new desktop UI.

the raspberry pi just updated again, this time with a new ui.... I mean it looks great and all.... but now i cant access some of the menu features like the clock prefrences, so now my pi is stuck in 24 hour format instead of 12 hour which is what im used to!... Please help.... I mean PLEASE, this is EXTREMELY annoying, and i really hate this...

I am looking for a solution, no luck yet. I watched this thread so I can respond if I find something.
I hate military time.

nano /home/pi/.config/lxpanel/LXDE-pi/panels/panel
Find %R in that file and replace it with %I:%M save it and restart the GUI.

I can't access the Digital clock settings window. Why is it happening?

Correct. It's normal, albeit that normal == broken. See
