Bought powered hub - now no USB works!

Wed Jun 27, 2012 5:42 pm

Having seen that it's recommended to use a powered hub I bought one from Argos - Mikomi 4 port hub USB 2.0. It has a 5v 2A PSU.
Now my Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 800 and Wireless Mouse, also my old fashioned PS2 keyboard and mouse (via PS2 to USB converter lead) don't work at all. Previously the wireless keyboard had sticky keys, and I had hoped that using a powered hub would cure this.
There are nasty messags from dmesg | grep usb , listed below.
Does anybody know what it all means?
Cheers,
Peter
