How to avoid router to make server

Mon Nov 10, 2014 1:20 pm

Hello everybody,

Thank you for taking your time to read this thread. I have installed apache2 with php5 on my rpi. Everything works as I want on my local ip

Code: Select all

192.168.1.x/index.html
. I have installed noip client as well. I can connect SSH through it. But when I type

Code: Select all

xxx.no-ip.org/index.html
on my webbrowser It tooks me to my router page. I dont see any solution for my problem. I had opened port 80 and 8080. Any another way to make my www visible through outside internet?

Have a nice day!

are you trying to get at your RPi via the no-ip while on the local network [the one with the RPi installed]
or externally from somewhere else in the world

Dear RaTTuS,

Thank you for your reply. I figured out through snapito.com that my xxx.no-ip.org gives my normal webpage and only my local computers taking xxx.no-ip.org as localhost. Thank you for time. Hope my reply will help someone else :-)
