Freezing on Bootup After PiTFT Easy Script / Flash Image

Hello Everyone,

I tried running the DIY script for the 2.8'' TFT Touchscreen found here. After completing and rebooting, the Pi freezes upon booting up. It appears to happen during SPI setup maybe? Here is what is displayed when the Pi freezes:

I then tried format the SD and flash a clean image using the one with preloaded TFT config in the above URL. I am seeing the same issue as above.

Does anyone have any ideas what could be the problem here? I am about to attempt flashing a clean Raspbian image and will report back with updates.

Extra information:

1. Everything worked fine before running the script
2. I have tried booting with touchscreen connected and disconnected

Which Adafruit TFT do you have? Can you give a link to the product page on adafruit.com?
