Still running slow and rebooting

Hi.
I posted about issues I was having and it was suggested that the slowness and rebooting in openelec xbmc was likely to be down to my power supply.
I bought a good one from mod my pi (5v 2a) and it's made no difference.
I am not sure what to do!
It's a model b running gotham 13.1 with a SanDisk 8gb class 10 card with nothing in the USB ports to slow it down.

Navigating around the Xbmc menus can take between 10-40 seconds!!
I bought the pi used and it came preloaded with openelec.... So could it be that I may been to wipe the install and start from fresh?
I have a Kingston traveller 16gb 2.0 stick... Would that be quicker?
Thanks for any help!!

You were advised that starting afresh in your other post was a possible solution http://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewt ... 91&t=87588

That has little to do with what I am asking.
I was asking how to update for future xbmc updates (I didn't mention slowness in that thread).
That query was answered, however the slowness and re-booting is not!

Did you start with a fresh install of OpenElec 4.0.7 ? http://wiki.openelec.tv/index.php?title ... spberry_Pi

Is it a genuine SanDisk SD Card ? http://sosfakeflash.wordpress.com/h2testw

Personally would buy a new Class4 SD Card and start from a fresh install
