Have no composite video output from AV jack. I am using correct A/V cable as suggested on multiple posts. Edited config.txt, as suggest in posts. No life to composite video even pressing 3 on NOOBS boot. Please help. Bought new cable especially to get this working.

I assume you have read the sticky?
What do the LEDs show? Steady Red, flashing yellow?
Sure it is the right cable? There are so many types alas. Did you check it with a multimeter?

Are you 110% certain the RPi is booting? For example does it work if you connect an HDMI display or can you ssh into it?

When I connect power red and green flash then finishes on steady red. Yes, checked cable with multimeter and is the same as from the posts I have seen. It is one used for Ipod av.

NOOBS can be tricky to get into composite mode, and, if you fail to do so during "first boot"**, and then install an O.S., NOOBS will "remain" in HDMI mode (it's default/preferred option). (This is because of several logged issues which should be addressed in the next full release, AIUI).
FWIW, below are links to some "successful", non-HDMI installs within my webpages, including some, albeit brief, notes:
http://www.cpmspectrepi.webspace.virgin ... e_Video.29
http://www.cpmspectrepi.webspace.virgin ... NOOBS.html
http://www.cpmspectrepi.webspace.virgin ... ellow.html
Trev.
** The initial "video-selection window" is only ~10secs and then you may have to wait several minutes whilst NOOBS performs some initial "disk housekeeping" before you get a second chance (ie. after all green led ACTivity has ceased).

Made a fresh start up using Noobs 3.9. I press 3 at start up HDMI goes blank but no composite video. I have actually had a RaspberryPi B. I had a few problems with composite video but eventually sorted it out. The reason I bought a new Pi is that I shorted the first one. I thought a replacement Pi B+ would be good but unfortunately its been a nightmare so far as composite video goes. I have though got a Adafruit 2.8 320x240 tft touch which seems to work well with the Pi B+. The main reason I want composite video is that I want to use the Raspirobot board but the Adafruit tft ties up the GPIO pins I need.
