I'm gonna have to agree with hawkyhawk14 on this one. After researching on the website http://elinux.org/RPi_Easy_SD_Card_Setup
none of those methods will do anything to change the size of the main partition (partition /).
And the only way I got it increased to 14GB from 1.5GB was using the second method on this website:
witch was pretty easy as of matter of fact, I do recommend to anyone to use the Gparted (You have to plug the SD card on another PC running Linux, mine was running Ubuntu 12.0). It's pretty graphic, all one have to do is drag the edges of the partitions to resize them/move them.
I won't recommend the command line with 'parted' as the creator himself make a notice once you're trying to move a partition with this method to not use it as it is pretty much unsecured and a guessing work.
Now I'm happy with more than 14GB to use in the / partition. Previously with the 1.5GB I had installed only like 5 apps and it was telling me that it won't install any other app as it was running out of space. (tried to install KmPlayer and refused to do it).
