I've been playing with my Pi for a bit now (and absolutely love it) but I've run into a snag. The Pi is powered through a USB hub, and I'm using my Apple Keyboard with numberpad, but the function keys don't do anything when pressed.

I've already run updates and dpkg to configure the keyboard for my region and keyboard type, but still am not getting any use of the function keys. The keyboard does work like normal on my full tower setup. Anyone have any ideas that I could try to sort this?

My Apple keyboard requires me to press the fn key simultaneusly as the function keys... works fine that way.

okay with the function key (right side to the backspace button) it works!

but ultimately i'd like to not have to press that fn button all the time.

any ideas?
