sync_supers process and CPU

Wed Jul 09, 2014 8:19 am

I have a Raspberry PI used as PBX with Raspberry Pi Asterisk.
After some days CPU is 100% and there are some sync_supers processes taking 20 % cpu each one.
If I restart CPU stays normal for some days.
How to fix it?
Thanks

Does following up on any of the results from https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=sync_supers help?

Maybe you just have a SD card which is "too slow" and can't keep up with all the disk-writes you're trying to do? (purely a guess) :?

I don't know if I have a SD card too slow but what I have read on google, nothing is suitable for this kind of issue. If I would stop and disable this service sync-supers ?

Hi.

I had this problem and it seems to work now. During the last months, I had to reboot the rpi after one or two days because of the sync_supers.

In /etc/fstab, I added "commit=600" for the ext4 partition, like that :

defaults,noatime,commit=600

Try it and let us know. My rpi have had no troubles since the 11th!
