Reporting issues with raspberrypi.org packages

Sat Jun 21, 2014 3:24 pm

Hi!

Is there a place to report issue with raspberrypi.org packages?
For example, the rpi-update package needs a dependency on curl.

I dunno if there's anywhere 'official' to report problems, so perhaps https://github.com/asb/spindle/issues is the next-best option? :?

In general, an email to the person listed as the package maintainer. Thanks, fixing the curl dependency is on my list.

Thanks.
IMO it would be better to have some public bug tracker (f.e. github issues).
That way ppl can see if an issue is already reported (so the maintainer doesn't get flooded with the same issue) and if there's a workaround, that could be posted there as well.

Thanks for that link/repo :)
If I find issues with the OOTB images, I'll report them there (as not to flood asb with all issues :-P)
